Selling out their first ticketed show in Sydney and three nights at Rad Bar in Wollongong within their first year, The Zilzies have been cementing themselves as one of the hottest new talents in the country. Playing 2018’s Yours & Owls Festival in their hometown of Wollongong, the 5 piece earned the respect of many a fellow crowd pleasing act.
The Zilzies have already shared the stage with fellow Australian acts Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley, Lime Cordial and Client Liaison... Just to name a few. They have also jumped up to join Sydney act, Sons of The East on their National Tour, throughout March and April 2019.
The group’s debut E.P. - 'Shell City', produced by Dylan Adams (Skeggs, DMA'S), was released in 2017 and has accumulated over 800,000 Spotify Streams. The 5-Track EP is loaded with stories of love and loss, told with a kind of simplistic wisdom. Boasting playful, yet intricate instrumentation front to back, ‘Shell City’ made for a thought provoking and highly danceable first release.
